We are going across in the summer and I've got a relative based there who has offered me the use on their apartment at Panorama- I will be with the family so wont have lots of time to go biking but it would be rude not to have a bit of time on the trails. I'm a wheels on the ground sort of guy so just wondering if anyone can give some real world experience and let me know if there is a good chance of me killing myself or if there is some nice swoopy rolling singletrack available?
Panorama is good for a while especially if you're staying locally. There's a mix of stuff and some of it's wheels on the ground. If you're more into XC though on the road from Invermere to Panorma is Lillian Lake which is a nice area.

It's a little bit further away but Nipika is pleasant for a day as well. It's a bit contrived and lacking in flow but nice views.

Cheers being honest with myself I'm only probably going to have 1 day free so will probably stick to panorama- I've already had to cancel a day in whistler on the way over to Vancouver on the realisation that Canada is frikkin huge!!
