Not a drug I know much about so I did a bit of googling.

http://dmtdrug.com/index.htm seems to have decent data. in its more powerful forms has significant dangers.

A mate of mine had Ayahuasca in south america and it altered him for life. he was not a drug taker but was on a journey of persona exploration and became very much more interested in and accepting of gods and spirituality afterwards.

Sounds fun! Where can I get some? 😮

Not had DMT, but LSD is a pretty mind-blowing substance. Amazing experience, but I'd never encourage anyone to take it. Got to be your own choice to do so. Such powerful drugs can and do have very serious impact on users, and sometimes in an extremely negative way. You should never 'play' with such things.

Totally unpredictable though really. You don't have any control over what demons may or may not be unleashed. But by God you will know about it if it happens...

I'd say, if you are a person of relatively stable mental condition, and not prone to depression or manic episodes etc, then it could be really enjoyable. It's all about the setting you're in, the people around you, how comfortable an environment you are in. But even then, things could go wrong. I don't mean to be a fearmonger, but believe me; you really, really don't want to see what demons can be unleashed from within you. You really, really don't. Trust me.

I've had some of the most amazing and incredible experiences of my life on LSD, but I'd never tell anyone they should try it themselves. I think that would be incredibly irresponsible. It must be your own decision to go through that door....

I think it's probably worth being sure you get the weaker more visual version and have an experienced 'sitter' with you if you try it. Then you will have an interesting and thought provoking experience like most people do. It's not more-ish but when use correctly even the weak one is very strong. Interesting effects include meeting beings who, to all intents and purposes, appear to have independent intelligence - independent of your imagination that is. Very curious. As with all psychoactives, if you have a history of mental illness I would recommend you leave it alone.

I have tried DMT. If LSD is like being let out of a cage, DMT is like being fired out of a gun! I had a big toke and a few seconds later the whole world atomised into wild Aztec patterns (I can see where a lot of south American art comes from now), half an hour later it was all over. Proper out of body experience through the cosmos. Quite extraordinary, no unpleasant but quite disorientating.

Have been offered it since and politely declined, not because it was a bad experience, I just no longer have the appetite for such extreme entertainment. It is not a light undertaking.

not to be taken lightly, you should IME read up on the stuff and know the quality and dosage before you embark - afterwards you will realise why i recommend you do this for yourself and not just trust the person handing it to you.

check out Erowid for advice on this and many others..

my experiance was similar to Torms, however one guy i was with had an extremely bad reaction, it was at that point that the rest of us realised that we knew precious little about the substance, the potential reactions or importantly at what point when your friend is unconscious and fitting violently you should call an ambulance!

It was reportedly used to treat heroin and crack addiction, by means of blowing their respective experiances out of the water....... if you even know what water is.

Really? Because i think implying people who don't do drugs are "society robots" is at least a little bit offensive.
