Finally discovered a great all round tubeless tyre about a year ago . So chuffed that it was easy to fit , didn't burp & had sidewalls that lasted more than 3 months , I fitted it to all my 29ers.

That tyre is the Geax Saguaro TNT , absolutely brilliant!

Problem is , no one seems to have them in stock anymore.

Anyone know if this is a short term thing , or are they no longer made ?

Strange as I got a pair just 3 months ago from Rutland Cycles.

Looks like Chickens Cycles (uk distributor) has cleared them out cheap (they have 1 left). Maybe a new model on the way?

Chicken not the only UK distributor... Also available from Fishers (when in stock)...

Anyway... Was chatting to the rather lovely Vittoria ladies at the NEC bike show on Thursday, to ask about GEAX for 2015 (Vittoria own GEAX). Anyway... The big news is that the GEAX brand is being axed, and that all the new tyres will just be branded as Vittoria.

Which might explain the lack of availability right now!

To be fair though, the non TNT version is one of the most reliable tyres for tubeless use I've ever run anyway... I don't bother with the extra weight of the TNT. Oh, and if you like the Saguaro, stick a Goma up front, you'll love it! The new 2015 tyres look the business too, with one tyre that looked very like a Conti X-King, and another fast rolling XC tyre.

I got some Sagauro TNTs from Singletrackbikes.co.uk a couple of weeks back. Good price too.

I always used 26" Barro Mountain TNT in the past. But since changing to 29" now use Saguaro folding (non TNT), they are just as reliable tubeless as the TNT tyres

Agree with you that Saguaro are a great rear tyre, and bought the TNT version due to riding in the Peaks.

But won't buy another TNT version as they're an absolute sod to remove and refit, especially trail side!
As I found out yesterday on the Bhf peaks ride!

Geax goma tyres are by far the best tyres I have used.

Are you using the TNT version or the normal folding? If they're the folding version does it say "sticky" on the tyre anywhere? It does on the TNT version.
I'm finding a lack of grip on wet rocks and roots so wondered if I've got a different compound?

cheers

I love my TNT Saguaro too! Wipes away a little tear - I bought some cheap on here and then gave them to a friend - so now I have no spares...
