I'm one of two of your criteria and I recommend this... http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/fs-almost-but-not-quite-finished-orange-hitman-with-shiver-scs-hope-race-face-1 [/shamelessplug]

I'm not 40 🙂

42 5'11"
like a 22" TT on a hardtail, 20.75-21 BMX
loads of bikes to choose from, wouldn't really recommend anything without knowing more details.

Not over 40 or that tall but I would recommend a bmx if it's just for dirt jumps. Something with a long tt and big bars. imo it's so much better for jumping when you get used to it. I have a Trailstar that I also use at the jumps sometimes but it's just not as good. There are plenty of tall bmxers so you should be fine.

42, 6'4" and ride a DMR drone. It's too small, but all DJ bikes are - that's just they way of them.

From a couple of years back...
