going to afan this wknd, just wandering is there any closures on W2? and are there any showers at the trail centre? ait been for a couple of years. thanks guys
yep - showers at trail center (Forest park end - not sure about MTB center end) and not too many closures when I was there (couple of weeks ago), just one that skips out Tramway and nant y bar (and the fireroad between them)

That new Blade trail has got to be up there with my favourites.
Rode W2 Sunday, Ywal climb has diversions that makes it 80% fire road if not more.
I would do Whites climb then Windy Point>Energy then take the old detour back past the black run to the top of Whites then do The Blade Trail.
That's what i'm doing next time.
Showers and cafes at both Glyncorrwg and Afan centres.
Check the website for diversions before you go and yes there will be showers Saturday, with maybe some heavy rain at times.
