As above
I hear they will be out September.
Sam hills been spotted on a carbon mega 27.5 and an alloy prototype before that.
Both were metric and boost so I presume that should roll out across the range this year. No word on any geometry changes yet.
A rep told me they are getting a longer toptube as well. Forget by how much though
lets hope the factory in taiwan remmebers to use the right loctite not the permanent stuff thats fussed so many pivot bolts .hotlines must be banging there head aginst the wall.
The n/s rear chainstay thread was never thraded all the way through on my 290 mega either .....i was lucky i got my money bacj from crc but never again .
Shame as it ride amazingly for 3 rides
What model year was your frame?
Anyone else have any more info on the 2018s?
Next Thurs at NEC cycle show 😉
Trade has seen them but public launch next week.
Thanks 100mph. Interested to see what revisions they've made.
The 'factory' version is mint 😉
Of which bike? Mega 290 has my interest..
I've ridden the carbon, seemed longer. Nice looker that's for sure
It's good enough for top 10 worlds if your Sam hill 🙂
So there's no carbon 290???
doesn't look like it
Ah well, I was worried a carbon 290 would drag me away from a Hightower LT but at least that's one less decision I need to make
Ohh, I like the look of the Digger. Although I'm still peeved that no one seems to be making this style of bike with an EBB or track ends, grrrrrrr.
With the reach of the XL 290 out at 515mm I feel they could’ve stretched the L a bit more, but as it stands 470mm with a short-ish 458mm seat tube will appeal to a lot of riders I think.
