Come on,I think you have a right to brag!😁 Long commutes count too.

Extra kudos if you are riding the SDW double or something just as mad.

I considered it briefly and decided tonight is kayaking time instead.

I mountain biked last night and have Cycle commuted to work today but nothing rock hard in terms of mileage. Bristol is reasonably warm.....

I'm gonna be doing about 12 miles of pretty hilly terrain this evening, followed by several pints of cold beer 🙂

Nah, I'm going to sit by the river and drink over priced craft beer.

Edit: I did ride to the station about 7:30, it was lovely.

Did a quick 30km round Bushy Park and along the Thames, but it was at 7:30 this morning when the temperature was still down in the mid 20’s.

25 mile commute home coming up! Looks like it's gonna be a bit damp though, so extra humidity too....

I managed a club ride this morning, just shy of 50 miles.

Needless to say it was bloody warm by the time I got home about 12.30!

Tomorrow morning I'll be commuting in to work at about 4am and it should be lovely and cool by then 👌

Yep 25 miles commute home this arvo on the motorbike, it was like riding with a hairdryer on high shoved down your jacket.

Well I did 25 on the Ridgeway but that was a 6am. Just done a 10mile loop to a pub and even at bimble tempo that was hot.

Just been out, car said it was 37 degrees. Was going to go and do a loop of Woburn, only 7 miles, but not a chance. Was in the garden cleaning bike and far too hot.

I was out in Girona last week and it was 36 degrees there. Did a few long rides, was generally OK. We stopped regularly for water and fresh fruit. Did Rocacorba in 36 degrees which wasn't nice. Its strange how much difference the heat makes, I've ridden much tougher mountains than Rocacorba, but thats the one I'll remember for hating nearly every pedal stroke.

Commutes home tonight 19 miles. Took me helmet off and put it on the rucksack. It’s the rucksack though that really makes you boil.

Was only 31deg when I left Shrewsbury though. A few roads were melting though

Well I'm southern so will ignore the other criteria as my 3 rides (2 commute and a lunch time ride to get sun cream & deoderant) only totalled 16.5 miles and I'm not hard.

I quite enjoy riding in this heat, I feel like I can justifiably be a sweaty bastard. Eschewed gloves & helmet all week too.

Not today, but one of my best rides was the UCI Gran Fondo in Albi in 2015 - 157 km in 36C at race pace. I rather like the heat actually, I go much better at 30C than I do at 20C. My TT 25 m PB was set at 34C on the A3 too.

(a gentle) 65km of flatish Devon with cracked rib for me. 32 degrees ave. fine in the saddle, too painful to pedal out of the saddle though.

As a northerner living in the south....
I did 4 hours from London into herts and back . Lots of bottle refills , slight nausea, prickly heat and a massive thirst for pale ale & need to eat Thai food are amongst the symptoms I’ve suffered.

I only managed 10 road miles over the undulating lanes of mid-sussex shortly after mid-day, but in my defence I was bikepacking with 2 children. Total weight of everything (including me) is pretty close to 200kg..

I had the choice of finishing at two today and getting some high temp riding in or taking on an hour's work 80 miles away. I chose the latter for a few hours of aircon.

The doggies didn't get a walk today due to the heat so I've just spent 15 minutes playing fetch in the garden and now have two staffies doing passable steam engine impressions on our stone floors.😁
