You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
i've had the shock pump for quite a while now (at least 10 plus years) but when i recently used it i was finding it was leaking air (at the area where the tube can swivel around the main body part of the pump not the head area). is it possible to fix or will i have to invest in a new pump?
Â
thanks in advance 🙂
They do seem to list a lot of spares and service kits on their website, although whether there is a convenient way of actually getting those spares in the UK is a different matter:

For example you can buy (in theory at least!) a replacement head & hose for this shock pump:

It will almost certainly be just a rubber o-ring.Â
Â
Take it apart, measure the o-ring and purchase a new one for about 5 pence?
Agree with the above.
Pumps aren't complex.Â
Take it apart, measure the o-ring and purchase a new one for about 5 pence?
Or take it apart, clean it, apply a little bit of grease to the O ring and it may well be fine again. But get a spare just in case.
