As I got my Bob Yak copy trailer from here for a charity donation(and delivered free by a another helpful forum member) I’d like it to stay in charitable hands, preferably via here.
So – free to a UK bike charity that can use it
- Bob Yak copy trailer with QR axle, vgc.
- Univega 509 old style mtb (mid 90s I think), grey/silver, 1” ahead forks, 8 spd gripshift, full xt with V, fitted with 1” road tyres and surprisingly light [to me], works well but has very dated geometry….. possibly not helped by being a bit low at the nose …..), forks are Marz zokes (*but the elastomers rotted so have replaced with washing machine travel springs…….) but I have a pair of 1” rigid forks and 1” cheap (but new) suntour 1” elastomer susp forks to go with it. I used it as a pub/station bike, was going to fix but it’s no longer reqd.
I’m based near Oxford(or Basingstoke), in Cardiff over Xmas and in Ayr early Jan next year.
I have dropped stuff off at the Cardiff Cycle workshop before so if nothing gets sorted out by Xmas I’ll drop it off there.
