Looking for some fast rolling 29er tyres.
Anyone seen any good deal?
Cheers.

Merlin have some good stuff in their sale (see above 🙂 )
I just bought some of the £12 Geax AKAs for commuting. Quite skinny, but £12!

Sorry to ask a stupid question, are those Vittoria Terrano XC Race G2.0 TLR able to run with tubes?

Just got a new bike after a good number of years without, came equipped with WTB STi 30 rims with Panaracer Firesport 29er 2.3 tyres. I bought it for beach front leisurely rides with the wife, just looking at shedding some weight (on a budget) and reducing the rolling resistance. Don't worry, I'm not looking at starting a tube/tubeless debate.

Any other tyre suggestions welcome 😁

Tubeless ready means that they can be be run tubeless but are generally not as robust as a dedicated tubeless tyre. I've always found them to be fine ran tubeless or with tubes. Can need a bit more air to get the beads into place compared with non tubeless.

Cheapest are wire bead, I've had good experience of the older fast track tyres.

Much cheapness.....

Or my preference as tubeless ready, bit more money....

Thanks for clarifying.

Specialized Renegade Control also on offer at Merlin, same price but a shade lighter, which do I go for?

Fast track front and renegade rear?

Sounds like a fast xc summer dry trail combo

Vittoria Barzo and Mezcal combo seem popular with the long distance mountain bikers. This was an option when I was looking for xc tyres for my Scalpel.

Bought Schwalbe Rocket Ron and Racing Ralph in the end and am pleased I did. Maybe not as fast as some but can handle a bit of muddy and loamy trails ime.

Schwalbe has a bewilderingly amount of carcus and compounds which can seem a bit intimidating.
Specialized and Vittoria are a bit easier to understand.
