To try and improve my skills (endos, wheelies, manuals, bunny hops etc) in and around the house would playing around on a Trials Bike help me?

If so what do I need to look for and which size wheels?

Ta

in my experience you don't need a trials bike to learn how to endo (good brakes), wheelies, manuals or bunny hops; just practice.

I'm liking the idea of you riding trials in the house 🙂 A couple of my riding mates do it, and are both very competent at the skills you mention. As Alpin says though, it's all going to be about practice. But yes, OF COURSE you need a new bike, nice little 24" 🙂

all you're talking about is unweighting the rear or front of the bike.

i used to ride a lot of trials - gave it all up a few years ago-my brother just sold his trials bike so i don't even have one to play with now. 🙁

Do you really mean inside the house!?

i'd recomend a 4x/jump style bike over a trials bike - it's more useable in the real world. although some of the 24" trials street bikes (simialr to danny macaskills inspired) are more like this that a pure comp trials bike (wheelbase the length of the amazon)

if you really want to jump around in the house then a cheapo 20" will be the one to go for - 26" too big to move about really. they are a funny type of ike though (20" and the comp style 26"s) don't like being on two wheels (due to -ve bb drop ie bb above axles) but perform brilliantly on 1 wheel.

I don't mean ride around the house sorry, the wife would kill me.

I ment around the estate and driveway.

I'm guessing 24" would be better for what I want to improve, am I right?
