Cut a long story short (pun unintended) I ordered these in grey:

Received these instead:

Looks like CRC have the right description, just the wrong pic for the grey shorts (although for whatever reason mine arrived with no liner).
Can anyone tell me which shorts are pictured in grey on the CRC site as I'd rather have those?
Fanks.
Possibly Ruckus? Or maybe Skyline?
I rekon they're the older Ace shorts??
Grey ones pictured on CRC are the old style ace shorts that, iirc, they we selling off a lot cheaper not long ago. The ones you've got are the new style.
Looks like you're right, thanks.
Older ones look more substantial, these ones look like they've been made from paper mache (and the liner is missing).
Fancy the Skylines instead but not sold on not having zipped pockets.
One Hundred and Eight Pounds! For shorts?
Crikey 😯
I know, I know. But I've been a good boy and felt like cheering myself up after my Hummvees fell apart again.
I did use a money off voucher so they weren't that bad.
And they are going back so I can stop feeling guilty.
Yep they are the older style ones, the new ones I believe are a lot more slimmer cut.
(and the liner is missing)
The liner in my TLD Ruckus is strange - like really "low rise". I won't be buying another pair.
Slimmer!?
Just tried them on I had had the male equivalent of cameltoe 😯
The material is that thin you can almost see through it.
Skyline has had the same treatment, was quite disappointed with the new ones. To top it off, black isn't black now, more like a dark grey.
Glad you said that as I was looking at the grey race version.
Is it that hard to find a decent pair of shorts that aren't black (trying to get away from black everything) or a daft lego colour?
Nice boring grey would be good, preferably that are tough enough to last more than a few offs.
