You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Took out a subscription a while back and chose Rouvy as it gave 3 user's for one family membership, I wasn't interested in racing and Mrs Davy90 uses it.
I find I don't use it that often as I cycle commute 3 days a week and usually out on Sunday so don't have much time/energy left for indoor cycling.
Today's forecast saw me bottling my planned XC loop and instead I started one of the workout programmes. It seems to have had some updates since I last used it and quite enjoyed an hour and a bit of 8min intervals. Will try to follow the programme and see how it goes.
Any others on here use it?
I’ve used it the last few winters, but more just to follow virtual rides and occasional races.
Are the workouts on ‘real’ roads then or just following bar graphs ?
always found navigation on Rouvy a bit clunky
edit: just been on for the first time in months, like the look of the training plans, would still like to know if it’s real world riding ? Also how does it interact with smart trainers ie does it still match real world terrain which would make some sessions really hard !
The workouts follow power bars which are independent of the scenery which just turns into a pretty backdrop.
With GRX I'm spinning out at higher power intervals so will need to tinker with the settings. Not sure if it affects the numbers but I'm taking them with a massive pinch of salt anyway, not least as I've got a Kickr Snap which I suspect is not particularly accurate.
