It's for the commuter/tourer thing..
Taking it to Guernsey this weekend, and will be lugging Jnr in the trailer, and panniers full of GHDs and 'stuff'...

Want to drop from a 42t on the front, to say, a 39t.

Is this any good?? I can't see ramps on the pic, but google suggests it's part of a 53/39 set up.

Ideally need it before this weekend, so suggestions appreciated!

Don't forget the new chain. You'll need longer if going for a larger sproket.

I've got a few SS chains/links to spare. I might be able to slide the drop-outs forwards to free up some slack too...

39T from a 53-39 combo won't have ramps. I have a 9spd 39T on my SS CX hack at the mo.
