My butt has been killing,, my old ensues Humvee padded inserts are toast.

I don’t ideally want to buy anymore shorts as I have a few pairs but could do with some really comfy padded inserts for when I’m in the saddle for a long day

Any recommendations?

I've recently taken to buying Galibier - I've two bib shorts, mrs_oab some waist shorts. Best fitting, best pad, nicest leg grips I've ever had.

Just buy the regular shorts, although they do a liner for under thier baggies.

Endura engineered padded boxer. @£28. Not too obtrusive a pad but comfortable all day. No leg gripper; that suits me as I find silicon grippers irritate my skin on a long sweaty ride. The material has the 'feel' of cotton, so comfortable and lightweight.

If you liked the Endura padded liner they can be bought separately.

I like Galibier kit, not tried their pants yet.

FLAB Grundies get good reports.

Endura engineered padded boxer.

Christ no!

I had a pair years ago, yes it positions a pad in the region of your undercarriage, but it doesn't hold the damn thing in place and using a heavy cotton type material just help double the sweating to really maximize chaffing...

Essentially it's an "engineered" arse eroding man-nappy...

I like the Gore C3 liner shorts, really well made and last for a long time

I've got older Gore liner shorts, they're great and I alternate 2 pairs. They must be more than 10 years old. I've also got a pair from Endura Humvee shorts that were the predecessors to my Gore shorts. I only ever wear them if the others are in the wash.

+1 for Galibier bib shorts - go for the peleton model, if you want to choose leg length

Well Cookeea, arses for courses...
The Endura boxers work very well for me and I only reach for more expensive liners when I'm on a longer day out, say 6 hours plus MTB or 100 + miles on the road. They fit my shape well and are comfortable (for me). Same for my usual riding buddy; he rates the Enduras too and he's a significantly different shape to me. My Mrs likes the girly version too and she's definitely a different shape to me...
