If you can find a 2015 Defy 0 around anywhere, that might be in your price range, and it's one hell of a bike.

One that fits! Seriously... Sit on a few, see which is the most comfortable. This is far more important than what rear mech it has or whether it's 9/10/11spd at this price.
This is where your LBS will hopefully be very useful!
