Ugly looking suspension design?
That's about it really. Seems like a decent price.
It wouldn't surprise me if the bearing replacement kits are on the expensive side from cube.
I haven't any experience of that particular frame but I was shocked by the prices of a cube stereo 2010 bearings kits :s
Steep & long chainstay put me off but no doubt fine if you after something XC'y but considering I'm looking a similarly spec'd Whyte 109 for £1300 (but better geo IMO), a bit of a bargain.
I know the aesthetic design of the suspension shouldnt really matter but just not keen o the looks at all(and I normally like Cube bikes).
I could be tempted by the Canyon Nerve, similar spec but a few hundred quid more but getting on for nearly a Kilo lighter on the manufacturers specs, plus you get little things like a Torque wrench and shock pump supplied too.

Like the look of the whyte 109
Hmmm plenty to think about!
Test ride.
Test ride.
Test ride.
Then decide.
It's JE James and they don't have it in stock, so it's probably 50/50 whether it ever turns up. Looks good though otherwise
Ugly looking suspension design?
It just looks like one of the three main suss designs, same as many others. An example of another of the three is the Canyon. There are very few bikes that actually look different to the norm.
Any reasons not to buy this bike?
Pretty sure that bike belonged to Hitler and is inherently evil.
Sorry mate, best keep looking. 🙁
