Been browsing Evans site pending the unveiling of our C2W scheme next week, and these look a great spec for the money - am I being blinded by the 105/BB7 bling and missing something?

I have one. I have had it about four months. So far so good.

It rides well, good grip from the Kendas, no problems with the drive train.

I like mine. I've taken those SB8s off (they're draggy on tarmac) & replaced them with Marathons
I've put full mudguards and a rack on it, so it feels heavy, but it rides nicely.
I'm in Wakefield, if you're close & want a spin on a 56cm.

@brokensoul - thanks for the offer - I expect a 56cm will be a size too big for me at 5'9, but I'll keep the offer in mind if the Nottingham Evans can't get a 54cm to try.

Sounds like you've kitted out like mine will be though - how is it for toe overlap with mudguards?

Brokensoul, any chance of a pic with the rack & guards on?

Thanks.

MCTD I'd not noticed, so I've just been to check. No, there's no overlap.
Rusty, I've not taken any pics, let alone get them uploaded on my half meg interweb. I'm on 12 nights till Wednesday morning, but I'll see what I can do (the lawn needs attention & the fence a coat of stain before I can take any pics to post on here). 😉

Bought one a few weeks ago and its ace for the money. Probably change the tyres when my fitnss improves.

I tried the medium and large and I am 6ft so medium should do just fine I ended up on a large. Also as its Evans own they probably have all the sizes in. They certainly had med in Arkse 2 and a large in 3 when I got mine Manchester.

Good value for money.
