On one chunky monkey is a pretty big 2.5". Added some comfort to my 29er even with a skinny rim.

Wtd dissent. At 2.55 with monster grip. It's heavy but will run tubeless at 10 psi for loads of cush and shred and gnarr etc... unicycle.com did have some in. Failing that wait til xmas for the surly dirt wizard.

cheers tazzy. seen your posts on them. great if i was in uk and using only for single track but where i am it's dry 90% of the time and i will be riding some road and fire road on them too, so after something a bit less gnarrly.
heavy beasts as well. look like when you need them tho!

hmmm that's quite large keef. like the look of that.
got an accurate-ish idea of width?
maybe it's best to get the rim nice and wide first?

On the wide rim front, surly knard 50mm, nimbus dominators 42mm velocity now do a p45 as well as the 35mm so you can get 45mm rim tubeless ready at a smudge over 600g fro the 29 er rim

I think they're discontinued and a quick search on Google doesn't find any old stock left for sale.
