I'm thinking about a new frame but I can't afford new wheels and forks. Ideally id like a frame I can keep for years and switch over to 650b if I feel the urge. I've looked at the Intense carbine and the Banshee Rune but are there any others I should be looking at? Anything that can take a 160mm fork.

There was a lad called Simon Parsons riding Banshee at tillgate the other day. It looked awesome and is 26/650b compat as you say. Looks like a great choice to me.

You need to be running a big bike if you want a Liteville that will fit a 650b rear wheel in the rear chainstays.

The large had ~1mm of clearance with not a particulary big tyre.

It's not a 'proper' 650b bike, the wheels just kinda fit.

I looked at the liteville but the ebay ones are only medium and I need a large. Only thing putting me off the Rune is frame weight seems on the portly side. Guess it means it'll last though.
