The pussy route was an enjoyable 50 metres downwards ST, then a short horrible push out while you watched the drop-riders who were behind you pass above, it definitely cost 30 seconds or more.
It was annoying and frustrating, just as intended I presume!

Did anyone else pick up Norovirus at SSUK? Me and another of our group had the pleasure. One of the best 24 hrs of my life followed by one of the worst. 😯 😆
Mattjg- the pussy route was cut spefically to allow the faster or
more skilled riders right of way, hence the uphill back to race circuit, we could have brought it in higher up but that wouldohave meant fast traffic entering tight singletrack across the riders comming off the drop so I did it properly with my course designer and health and safety hat on. Surprised you took that option really

I realise I am a bit late to the party here (being 4 days after the event but only just back to civilisation) but wanted to say thanks for a cracking first ssuk, will definitely be going to ssuk15 next year with the nice SS pugsley (again, thanks!).
