I'm thinking about getting a flat bar commuter bike rather than using the current bike which is way too nice for all weather commuting and the new Roadrat caught my eye.
I'm undecided between the singlespeed or 1x9 Sora model at the moment, hopefully I'll be able to get one using our cycle 2 work scheme.
Is anyone riding one and if so, what do you think of it?

Contrary to the standard STW opinion on Cotics (including my own, as an owner and enjoyer of an old Mk II Soul), but my mate at work got a RoadRat on Bike 2 Work and I found it an absolute pig of a thing to ride.
Might have been the seat height (and seat, which is a razor). Might have been the mega-long stem. Might have been the super-narrow bars.
But whatever tweaks I tried, I could not get comfy or happy on that bike when I borrowed it.
I'd strongly suggest getting a try of one before committing. It might just be me (I genuinely wanted to like it as I'd been eyeing one up myself as a commuter) but if I had one in the shed it'd be the last bike I reached for.
