Not sure if the CX referrs to all brands or just the Seven? Any way, yes I own a Ti Litespeed road bike and a alu one before that. Riding pal too has roadie. Never had a problem, build quality is superb, ride quality spot on. Size wise I found the M a tad small so moved upto ML for current Ardennnes that I have been riding since new '07. Bought frame and forks to build on. Hope this helps...

Scruzer,

yeah thanks for reply.

Not so much worried about build quality of Ti or Litespeed specifically as much as interested to know owners feelings on any of the above cross bikes if there are any on line.

Thanks.

I have just bought a litespeed CX. it's awseome. I have been out with a cycling club for a short club run with them on their 700x23's and found it to be a very comfy responsive ride on the road. have not ventured offroad with it just yet as it is still shiny but will do soon.

it's much much much more comfortable to ride than my old klein which was far too stiff. but it's got a spirited ride and accelerates well, no boggy feeling like some cheap steel (or Ti) frames have

so the benefits of aluminium (weight, responsiveness) with the benefits of steel (ride damping and comfort) with a trade off between the two (not AS stiff as aluminium and not AS comfy as steel)

but a great commuter and perfect for club runs, it would seem. also perfect if you catch a trail as you are heading down the road and wish you could just break off the tarmac and head down it to see where it goes - now you can!

I have a back problem and have found the litespeed to extend my stamina in the saddle.

awesome bike. best i've ever owned.

How small are you? I'm selling my IF Planet X - it's a steel one and bloody lovely, but I'm skint and hardly ever ride it. You're welcome to come and take it for a spin sometime if you want to see what one feels like.

He bought a Litespeed CX in the end, very nice it was too.

Would look better with a blue headset though, eh Gus...
