Trying to drum up a few more riders to ride in the evenings I,m a member of http://www.ridethelakes.co.uk/phpbb3/index.php and there is around 6 regular riders that ride most Mondays/Wednesdays.
Looking @ riding out of Kendal(local)on a Monday and further afield on Wednesdays there are lifts available!

Oh - I was a member of RTL website and got out once... not managed it since though. I really must get my arse in gear and start getting out this year though! Miss riding, and having a good giggle (my woeful lack of fitness scares me off riding with people at the moment though).
May wait for the longer evenings though - or day time rides - as I am somewhat ill equipped at the moment!

Don't worry too much about holding people up. Just come out and have a laugh. The riding now will pay dividends come summer! 😀
Smuttie thawed out just! need to sort the bike out new cables and a front brake bleed taking it to Askews tomorrow as I have no bleed kit and can do without the hassle!
Hi postierich. Would be interested to tag along sometime. Me and a couple of mates ride Tuesday nights usually and are local to the Kendal area.
No worries Rockape. The plan for the rides is usually posted up on Friday for Monday night rides and Sunday for the Wednesday night rides, but just post up on the http://www.ridethelakes.co.uk/phpbb3/index.php site and let us know if your planning on coming along.

Postierich: I did gamblesmere lane top of Kendal Sunday. We do Kentmere the lakes We did Gisburn this Tuesday night was very slippy but a hoot. We often do a trail round Clapham (all dependent on the weather obviously). Hope you boys are a run what you brung club none of this having to have a 3/4k bike to be able to join in HaHa. I'll check your site link see where your riding next and let you know. Off to the dales tonight to ride with stu and the boys from the dales bike centre for a chilly night ride should be fun.
No worries rockape will catch up one night hopefully, have a good one @ the dales centre! one place I need to explore only been through on a coast to coast and stayed the night!
