You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I picked up a Votec hardtail recently, but can't find much info, apart from little snippets from Google.
I'm guessing this bike is from around 2005ish......it has the Handmade in Germany headbadge. I'm guessing the paintwork is a customer option thing, the decal says "Cloudy" and it has flower decals all over. All stickers are on top of paint so can be peeled off. The frame has the signature huge down tube and the main tubes are externally butted. ZS head tube and a disc mount on the rear. That's not like any disc mount I've seen before; big holes that are threaded and look as if they might take a chainring bolt (!?) From Google, I'm guessing it might be a Tox Light, but if anyone can shed any light , I'd be grateful 🙂

Cant help much, but they did a collaboration with Porsche in 90s which was the typical car manufacturers mtb lifestyle product that was horrendously over priced (painted show boat yellow with gt spin wheels to match). They also made their own forks in the 90's and did some cannondale superV 'esk carbon bikes, as well as of the time urt (unified rear triangle) designs with high pivot placements. They were certainly a bit of a boutique brand in the 90's especially in the UK - pretty rare.
I think that the brand must have been sold off in the early 00's or development of their own bikes stopped as they allofasudden became a bit of a 'out of a catalogue frame' kind of company and the frames became mass-produced and a bit generic in design.

Ive ridden that! Was awful.
Sorry, no help from me
