My work is having a big new Wolf combi boiler fitted it's the only gas appliance in the place and the feed pipe is 15mm. The guys fitting it are using that 15mm gas pipe (about 5 meters from the meter) another quote said that a 22mm feed pipe was required for a gas certificate and he wouldn't fit without changing the pipe is that the case?

Disclaimer: I am no expert.....
...but, does it not come down to how many appliances are being fed on your side of the meter/distance from meter/no of tee's etc? i.e. - it depends! If you can achieve the required gas pressure at the appliance with 15mm then it should be OK, but it will be up to the installer to do the calcs/sign it off.
