Taking terminally ill mum in law for a week in Amsterdam looking at going in car, so car parking and nice hotel
Any reccomendations before I start trawling Internet

been years since I was there but Hotel Krystal or Cristal was good, just outside the main bustle but still in the 'centre'.

The Krasnapolsky on Dam square is beautiful and central for everything. Most of the NH hotels would actually suit but that one is a bit special.
