as above , had a specialised sirrus elite until it got half-inched.

loved it but silly amount of gears and one or two poor quality components. (brakes for example)

Have a look at Edinburgh Cycle Co-Op - think they have 15% off everything this weekend - some of their own brand bikes look quite good.
