You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Having bought an aero helmet on the cheap and instantly noticed my speeds rise on flat sections I'm now convinced of the benefits of aero, and as such am considering some new wheels
Thing that is putting me off is the fact most carbon wheels require specific pads, and as I'll be keeping the aero kysiums for windy days, I can't be assed changing pads every ride.
Been checking out the cosmic carbon pros with an Alu brake surface, and while perhaps not as light or cheap as a pair or light bicycle wheels, they look a good option for my needs.
Are they any good. Weight claimed is 1650, which isn't much more than my ksyium elites.
kysiums for windy days
Just get some carbon wheels. You dont need special wheels for windy days. 50mm deep is fine.
