Just wondering, quite fancy a pop at one...
What sort of enduro, is the first thing we need to get out the way? Rally-style stage enduro (what some call gravity enduro), or endurance-xc enduro?
I can't actually answer the question for either- don't know of any of the former and don't pay much attention to the latter! Except that if you like the gravity-style events, there's the No Fuss Endurance Downhill at the end of the month, which is a bit different but might still appeal. Still places available and it's a fantastic event. I did it last year on a 6 inch trail bike despite being a knobber, and didn't die at all.
Gravity Enduro.
Is that one the Fort Bill Endurance DH? Uh-oh, was planning a weekend in Fort Bill that weekend, not any more maybe...
Gravity calendar seems a wee bit empty just now, nothing planned at innerleithen that I know of.
I don't think there'll be much disruption to the public access on saturday 28th- the race doesn't start til 3.30pm. The DH is closed from 2.30 but the red is open til the normal closing time 3.45, and the first race traffic will only be hitting the lifts around then. Probably some people getting in sighting runs though. I'd give them a bell but I don't think it'll make much difference.
