Any Edinburgh folk want to meet for a spin on bikes?

We used to do this on Wednesday evenings a good few years ago and got good turnouts and it was fun.  I made some real friends thru these rides

So I know there are a few Edinburgh locals here so who fancies meeting up to go for a spin?  I also have some nice gravel routes around the lothians

Weekday evening or weekend day

I promise not to argue 🙂

If you fancy a trip out to the tweed valley during a week day I can take you on a nice ride around.

Train to Gala is easy enough  to get here.

I would be up for something. I ride an off road handbike which places some limitations on where I can ride and I occasionally need rescued when I capsize/get stuck 🤣. Early in the week suits me better. Daytime rides would also work for me.

Through in Edinburgh most Thursdays, so could be up for something if that suits others?

Am down in Tweed Valley most Saturdays or Sundays a.m.(varies), mostly Golfie but sometimes elsewhere to get away from crowds 😉

Happy to give a lift

I'd be up for some rides now and then, though I rarely seem competent enough to organise myself for weekday evening rides.

I'm tempted to drive up from the Midlands just to see TJ not argue with anyone... 😉

Would be keen for this. Fond memories of Wednesday TBC rides in the Pentlands, pint in Colinton then spin back down Water of Leith

Yeah I've moved out of Currie but that used to be brilliant, get home from work, thrash over to Bonaly, arrive 5 minutes late always and then immediately have to ride up a hill while still knackered, but half the rides ended literally minutes from my house 🙂 Good times. Who was there that time we rode through some sort of enormous teenage forest pissup near balerno?

They were great rides. One time we had a team of over 20 at GT on a night ride with lights. I brought TJ back and we didn’t argue once.

My time is tight but Sundays/Mondays are best for me. I’ll keep an eye on the chat
