I've had Fox Fire Defend trousers since my first winter riding, , this year i've kept a little weight off so they don't fit me
Found the next size down for 120 at tredz, or Altura ridge thermal for 90
Would also be willing to try tights under a dwr pair of trousers.. basically any deals for some kit which is suitable below 10 degrees and has some small amount of water repulsion, looking around a 34 waist, preferably with some sort of adjustment/bibs/dungarees
Was going to grab a pair of context gravity trousers and something underneath, but they aren't in stock atm
requirements:
34 waist
adjustable
tough to take a spill or two
suitable for sub 10 deg c conditions
can handle some damp

Have you tried getting some braces to keep your existing ones up?
haha i literally thought about that on the way home...
no trousers stay up on me anyway..
so yes.. i need braces... ones that wont rip me to shreds if i stack it
I bought some Oakley braces - very nice and not so geeky looking.
I would go for leggings, like HH Lifa, under the waterproof trousers - can change the warmth of the leggings according to the outside temperatures and they will also feel nicer if the leggings aren't brilliantly breathable/clammy.
cheers, i grabbed the oakley braces, lets see how that works out for me
Not sure if they still do them but Decathlon did some heav duty riding trews that I find toastie on cold days and have DWR. Were about 45 knicker when i bought mine
Oakley Braces - Game changer
thanks for the guidance... not one adjustment required over a whole ride, no cold back... brilliant
