So hive advice; I am after a hard tail and will go up to the 1k limit. Has anybody seen anything really good out there? Thanks.

Check out sunset mtb. They’re cyclescheme and usually have some decent sale offers. Got my p7 from them on c2w last year.

Some shops may "sell" you a cyclescheme qualifying bike, but have you pay an additional deposit up front, and walk out the shop with a different bike, so I've heard.

Just don't rule out the bike you want if it's £200 over budget is all I'm saying.

Have those nukeproof scouts come back in stock anywhere yet, or a trek Roscoe for with budget, or a whyte 90x

Sonder transmitter on cycle plus, love the bike, although I had to pay £120 admin fee on top.

Pauls cycles are pretty good, there will be an admin charge on top (10% ish) but I picked up a nice Cube GTC xc bike for under a grand on C2W
