Not used one of my bikes for about a year, been sat in the workshop with a flat front tyre for a while until I noticed it. Been out today, and I have a major tyre wobble in it now. Annoying, as it's a pretty new Maxxis. I've pumped it right up to max pressure, but it's def properly seated. Anything else I can do?

Apart from not let it perish by standing flat for a year, not much

Put it on the back so you can't see the wobble.

Use it as a rear.  Try not to look at it.  That’s about all I can offer

^ beaten by seconds.  Great minds 😀

Years ago I'm talking mid 80s I came home with a pair of mahoosive Michelin knobblies and wacked them on the kili flyer. They looked mint but on riding I found one had a terrible wobble they was borderline unbearable

After a bit of thought I basically boiled it in an old saucepan, got it good and hot then re mounted it on the rim and pumped it up. Hey presto, wobble gone!

🙂 I'll try some hot water in a bucket, but expect to have to get a new one and stick this one in the spares bin

@kormoran, did the boiled one last as long as the raw one?

Ha ha it's a good question. A bit like a conker do you mean? Or an egg? 😀

From memory I am pretty sure I basically wore them out. You've got to remember that tyres were basically shite then,  and pretty limited in choice so I didn't have much to compare with
