Need a new UST rear 2.25 - 2.35

Currently running a Schwalbe Fat Albert 2.25 UST (which are great) but they are knocking on £40 a pop

Anything cheaper out there....?

ta

Must be UST

the 'tubeless ready' tyres don't have tough enough sidewalls for me (on the rear of a hardtail)

ah right, they don't have tyres on the site. Maybe the don;t post them due to weight? THey certainly had them in the shop when I was there at the weekend. Give them a call and ask

I always use Maxxis non UST, never had any issues with sidewalls, and I too run them on my hardtail. Maybe try some High rollers or Advantages?. I'm 16 stones, so they must be pretty robust!.

Is there much difference between the tubeless and the USTs? I never realised just how expensive the UST were and am hoping tubeless is a viable alternative.

Suppose it should be cancelled out by the fact that each tyre I use probably gets through at least 5 tubes through snakebites in it's life!
