I've been looking at doing the homebrew sealant recipe that started on mtbreview - it's v simple, just latex, water, ammonia, antifreeze and glitter.
Can't yet see where you can get latex from at a cost that would make it worthwhile, given that Stans sealant is £21 for 950 mL right now at CRC.
Anyone done this and sourced cheap latex?
next day tyres have got the 2 pint bottle of Stan's for £18.
Joes No Flats Super sealant. £16 @CRC for 950ml.
thecyclesite.com have 1 pint bottles of Stans at £14.40 at the moment.
on-one have some cheap, tried it out for the first time the other day, put an old (non-tubeless) crossmark onto a rim, inflated and turns out it has a big hole in it. On-one gunk sealed it straightaway, much to my surprise!
