Would like to know if anybody has used them, and how durable they are.
Yes, I've used them for a couple of months now including a 12 hour solo event.
Fast (ish) rolling on tarmac once the flashing has worn off (and there is lots), fast rolling off road with great grip, cornering and grip in the damp is also excellent, I am noticing some wear to the rear tyre already so they are not especially hard wearing.
The only time they have let me down is out of the saddle grinding (on a SS) on damp slimy rocky ground when thay had a tendency to slip, but I think most tyres of this kind would do the same on that terrain.
For the money IMO you can't go wrong as long as you are used to low profile XC tyres.
I'm considering the Kratos for [s]winter use[/s] current conditions.
Good write-ups of them on twentynineinches.com
