My brother in law is looking for a 24" wheel bike for his daughter. I know it's poor timing, but has any one seen any decent deals or bargains?

I have had a good search and the decathlon https://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-st-100-mtb-24-id_8569348.html

Rickrider st 100 looked ok for the money.

Any other options I should give him?

Islabikes Beinn 24, my kids loved theirs. Yes, they're not cheap, but they just work, and they hold their resale value.

We just bought the Rockrider ST 920 for my son. Have only got good things to say about it. Good quality frame, good components.
The only problem was trying to order one! They are over subscribed for orders so had to wait until midnight when they reboot the system and allow more orders to be placed

We have a frog 62 hybrid for my lad and it's a great bike. May have to search as they seem to be having Covid related supply issues (the bikes are assembled in Wales). Some bike shops do still have stock.

Frog is slightly less high spec than Isla but a light quality bike that it well thought through for kids. Has trigger gears that the lad can use quite easily. Seems better than grip shift type used on some in my opinion.

There are used Isla and frog bike groups on Facebook that can be good for finding second hand ones.

I bought my daughter the Wiggins Chatres a couple of weeks ago. The spec is good for the money and more importantly she loves it.

Cheers for the help guys, he managed to find a Marin bayview locally and picked that up. The posts really helped clarify the price and type of bike he was looking for!
