[Closed] Any 2019 Nomad rumours ?!?

Didn’t the current version only come out end of 17? And has just had a colour update for 2019...? Be at least another year yet won’t it? If not more.

... Colours are already out for 2019. Design is the same. Why would it need updating? Next frame to be updated will likely be the Hightower LT.

I can’t see the nomad changing anytime soon, the tallboy will be next on the lineup seen as the bronson, 5010, blur have all come out in the last year..

If they decide to even do another tallboy

With the new Blur out now, I wouldn't be surprised if they merged the Hightower/Tall Boy and updated the Hightower LT.

Anyone heard rumours of an updated (yes I know overpriced) Santa Cruz Nomad

Some say it has a threaded bottom bracket, and you can buy it slightly cheaper on ebay from a bloke in spain.

Goddamnit, no new Nomad then! Not sure why they'd need to update it, just thought they would given how regularly they refresh the range. I still have my 2016 and I love it, don't want to get it then it being outdated after a couple of months.

Most versions have a 3 year life, with yearly colour changes, so I don’t think there’ll be a new one next year

Not sure I understand? The current model is still relatively new in SC world. It was launched 2017 as a 2018 bike. If you fancy a new nomad it will be ‘current’ for a bit yet!

They might well do a 29er version though,eh?

Makes sense considering SC have embraced wagon wheels on their DH bike and seem to like having a model for every conceivable niche.

No SC Ebike, so not quite every niche.

As said earlier, possible next move is hightower LT getting the V10 suspension, no real need for 29 nomad then.

Then again, I'd imagine the new Bronson will take some sales from the Nomad.
