Have found one of these going second hand - must be the Comp Evo - and am thinking about adding it to my shortlist, but can't find enough on this specific model.
Front end doesn't look particularly slack, even with the 150mm forks, so how does it cope with the steep stuff? CTD okay?
Really liked my previous (older) Stumpys but they were more set up for XC with only 120mm 'zocchis. Not a fan of the CTD at the time though.
Cheers

All the info there..
I've already gone through the specs but it's reviews and owner feedback I'm looking for.
I've had the 2015 and 2016 and also the same in the enduro (specialized fan!) and the 2016 stumpy is so much better than the 15. If you can afford it, go for that year, new frame , slacker front end, handles better at speed downhill. The 2015 wasn't right in my opinion , to steep headangle short wheelbase , tendiancy to want to tuck front end. Just my opinion but for almost any sort of riding , xc, enduro, big miles or tight n twisty techy, the 2016 is better. Save up and get that.
That's the impression I got from the one review I found. Fairly sorted on paper but just not right on the trails, with the front end mostly to blame.
No 2016 availability in budget at ththe mo. Can't justify the spend. Ta for affirming what I suspected though
I'll sell you my 2016 carbon frame if you want it just about to buy a turner RFX
Being honest it's a brill bike let down only by the fact that it's a bit too short in the top tube for me and I actually wanted the swirls with a carbon swing arm ( they never had any)
Cheers mick, but I don't have the time or inclination for a build.
Still keen on a HT for a change but a localish Stumpy got me thinking.
