I'm of to the first round of the BDS this weekend (just as a spectator) but was planning to stay until monday night and hopefully get some runs in myself at the park.
I've never been there before but noticed on their website that the uplift is 'unavailable' for the following three days after the race. Does anyone know if this is due to the uplift just being fully booked for the three days or if the trails are actually closed (after race maintenance?). Emailed them on tuesday but not got a response as yet.
And is pushing up feasible at the park or is it really uplift or nothing?
It only opens Thurs-Sun as far as I know - I think if there's enough people they open extra days but you need a decent sized group.
