I can see how the Dyfi Enduro is a laugh as you get to camp at the start/finish alongside 100s of other competitors etc...and there's stuff happening at the campsite.
But I can't work out if the Antifreeze will be fun in the same way.
I've done the Dyfi, and ridden at Coed Y Brenin so know both well. But with the Antifreeze, it seems as if you can turn up on the Saturday to do some trails, then find somewhere nearby to stay the night (not much nearby as I've done that a few times before), and then do the event the next day. So not sure it's worth the weekend away, nor the journey there and back on Sunday for an hours racing.....
Its a nice little event, but I probably wouldn't make a weekend of it. I don't live too far so can just pop over to CYB.
Ultimately its three laps of some of the interesting bits but misses out some of the really good bits, so its not a must do for me. I did it last year as I like riding there but I wouldn't go out of my way.
