I keep my bikes in the cellar which is a bit damp and I've noticed my road bike is developing spots of mildew on the bar tape.

anyone any ideas how to reduce or stop this?

thanks

Bikes in bedroom, wife/girlfriend in cellar

But a mouldy girlfriend is definitely no fun!

Wipe down with a solution of a few drops of Tea Tree oil in 400-500ml of water.

But ideally I would get the bikes out of there.

You'll be wanting a fungicide. Mildew's a fungus, not a bacteria.
