So, Tracy has been sat in the garage since the summer, bearingless in part due to a ham fisted and sleep deprived attempt at bearing replacement.
I know it's not worth much but what are the collective thoughts on the below?
It's got a new BB, new rings, new pads ready to be fitted.
2010 Intense Tracer VP (140, 150 mm adjustable travel)
2010 Rockshox Lyrik RC2DH @ 160mm
XT groupset
Avid Elixir CR 203/183 brakes
Thomson stem, Easton ea70 monkey bars
Hope Pro11 / Stans Flow wheelset
Wellgo magnesium flat pedals
Maxis minion / cheap bontrager tyres
Rough weight 32.5lbs in large
And I'd replace the bearings obviously ...
I'll give you £50... 😉
Swap for your place in fulwood? 🙂
Nice frame ! Assuming its all in decent condition £500-600 ? The wheels, forks, stem and bars I could be interested in if you splt.
^ yeah that's kind of what I was thinking although I might have to spend £100 getting the lbs to sort out the bearings.
I might indeed look at splitting actually.. rims have a small dent each but bearings are fine. It's just the faff of then trying to sell all the old 9 speed drivetrain that no one wants!
Tracy
My main concern is who is Tracy?
Yeah, she might be rubbish at changing bearings but that seems like excessive punishment to me.

The fact the OP called it that would deserve a 20% discount in my view...
Duhhh! What would you call an Intense Tracer if not Tracy then?
Although the new ish carbon Tracer is called Troy..
So.. £500 - £600 do we think. I was hoping for a bit more but obviously it has outdated and thus dangerously small wheels 🙄
Some nice kit on that, I'd definitely split it.
Maybe £800 if not.
I've seen quite a few on pinkbike for 7-800 but they don't seem to necessarily go for that.
Not sure if splitting is better or not?
I mean, what £80 or less for the wheels, £130 for th forks, brakes next to nothing, drivetrain the same, frame maybe £250 if I get the bearings sorted?
There's an e in Tracer so it should have been Tracey but then why would you name a bike after me 🙂
Id split it, always ended up with more that way
^ my boss is called Tracy too. It gets awkward :-/
I'm with Jambalaya, £500-£600.

is your boss in the garage too?? 😆

off-topic but £100 to replace bearings...Why so much?
^^ well I think a full set of bearings is £50 and as I recall the labour rate about the same last time I had them done ..

Yeah you might be right actually.
