Allow me please a what's it worth thread! Thank you.

Just got a call from my son who is looking to move on his Specialized Carve Expert 2013 as he is saving to get married!

It is pretty much stock spec, expect the following:

Instead of stock 700mm flat bars, it has Spesh risers (720mm), a Spesh rib cage and some Wellgo v8 style pedals.

Also the Avid brakes were replaced with Deore.

It is in very good condition as he hasn't used it much really. He asked me for an idea on price but I am used to buying not selling!

Thanks in advance.

I knew someone would be smart and ask that, but it was too late to edit.

I'm used to buying new bikes.

To be honest the upgrades are not that much of an upgrade from a second hand buyers perspective, Deore are the entry level brakes, the riser bar is someting you can get very cheap from another stock specialized bike after someone upgraded, and the Wellgo pedals are V8 copies. Plus a bottle cage adds very little if no value.

Sorry to sound blunt but the bike it is not worth that much without heavy upgrades.

So I would say about £400 - £450 if it is in a good condition is fair.

No worries. I knew they weren't actual upgrades, I was just trying to mention where it differed from stock.

Thanks the figure.
