Ive got a 8 month old reverb that i haven't used since about June.

The post has locked up solid but i can still press the remote unlike other people who have had the same problem but the remote has locked up as well.

Air pressure is 250, and I have bled the remote and system but no luck in getting it to work.

Is this a warrenty job with oil in the air chamber or something? or shall I try bleeding it again?

Cheers
Jake

Locked up as in you can't push the seat down with the lever pressed in?

I've sometimes had mine get sticky if unused for a bit, and the older of my two posts sometime needs me to drop my arse down hard on the seat to get it to shift, then it's fine for a while.

I'm regularly applying fork oil around the wiper seal now after rides and compress down, raise to lubricate. Seems to help keep it going.

Could be it just needs a proper service if crud or damp has got inside.

Hi, I purchased a second hand one with exactly this problem. I've never bleed one before so I was extra particular in doing so. Off the bike plenty of tapping to get all the little bubbles out, wind in/wind out, tap bleed, tap bleed. You get the picture.
To my utter joy and disbelief it was fine first time.
Perhaps what I'm saying is do the bleed like a total first timer, over doing each stage.
All the best with it.
Stoddy
