Another mental deal from Planet X, all be it a roadie one.

I’m mainly putting this here as I’m *this* close to pulling the trigger but can anyone see any compromises that I’ve missed? Usually there are at this price but I just can’t see it..

- full carbon frame/fork
- full rival 22, compact, 11-32
- hydro discs
- tapered steerer, 12mm axles f&r, flat mount!?
- fulcrum wheels

Doesn’t seem to be any corners cut!? Am I missing something.

Paging Brant.. any ideas of build weight?, frame/fork weight? And wheel weight? (Don’t get me wrong they could be made of led and this would still be a good deal, just curious).

Thoughts?

I'm not looking for a road bike, but if that came in vomit green or lava orange etc I'd be very tempted! Just not in black 🙂

Does look like you can have hot pink.. if that’s garish enough for you.

Tyre clearance might be tight? Looks like it can only be specced with 25c tyres.

Can't beat VAT day for great PX deals.

Spec says 25c but that does sound low for a modern disc bike, the spec sheet also says it’s got QR axles so I wouldn’t take it as red...

My many year old caliper road bike could probably squeeze a 27/28 so I’d be surprised if you couldn’t fit a 28 on this.

Well there's the frame, wheels and group set, everything else seems good 😁

Indeed, although the specs say QR!

My point being the specs often incorrect for some reason.
