A little but different, but I've taken delivery of this and added a few nice touches. Ridden it at Newport and Reading, and I have to say it is a class above the Pre-Cursa that has been relegated to Teen 1.

Now the big question...

What wheels for the masters nationals?

FFWD F9Ts with 88mm deep sections and matching red logos

FFWD FOUR-T four spokes for whoosh whoosh sounds.

The latter might be a little out of place for training sessions.

Really round ones. As round as you can get them. Rounder than anyone else's wheels.

Well that's what the French team claimed regarding the UK track team's wheels - which were made in France 😉 .

I'm no sprinter so wheels for endurance and bunch races rules out discs. Most of my track riding is drop-in sessions and structured training so I want one set for all riding then these wheels go onto Teen1's bike as an upgrade.

Track is is something any cyclist should try at least once. An STW taster session at, say, Newport, would be a lot of fun of an evening. I'd be more than up for it. My first taste of track was just such a meet with road.cc some years ago.

Anyone else?
