Before I sold up all my gear I used to use a hope vision 4 on the Bars and a joystick on my lid and it was enough, I've still got the joy stick but looking at a light for the bars,
Now there seems to be many cheaper alternatives about where a few years ago there were really only the early and somewhat dodgy , at the time, magicshine
So question is what's out there now that is actually as bright and has a good usable light as the vision 4 and lasts as long or longer. Is it another hope or can the cheaper ones now compete with the big boys . Also on a more expensive front how are the smudge and trout offerings these days as they were new on the scene last time I was looking
Thanks
A few mates have got magicshine 872 &880. Both very good.
I've just bought a similar one for £80 off eBay. The seller has a web site called torchy the battery boy. On there he shows the expensive lights compared to the copies.
Smudge, trout and Neninja all offer quality lights.
Tbh, any light you buy will out power your old ones. The most popular mid-range ones are the gloworm from Neninja, or the Luminator from smudge (mtbbatteries).
I am awaiting delivery of a Spidereyes from Trout, which is a little pricier, but AWESOME!!
Someone's got his mojo back with his new bike 😉 All depends what you want to spend? Hong Kong phoey ones are cheap and cheerful, you either get a bad one or a good one. Personally I like Exposure, expensive if you buy new, due to the lack of cables. Also helmet light, I think , is a must just to look where you are going.
🙂
Seem to have some renewed interest mate lol 😉 thanks again
DX/cheaper alternative P7 still working well for me.
