I know there's loads of videos etc but I came across this and thought it might make a nice supplement to Mr Musson's book or to compare notes . May well add confusion though !

(Just to say Roger Musson's book isn't free... https://www.wheelpro.co.uk/wheelbuilding/book.php. Although it is apparently available to download for free, I chose to pay him for his work)

I taught myself from the Sheldon brown guide, tbh it's not like it's magic, once you've got the gist of it then it's just a case of remembering what order you want to lace the spokes to get the pushing/pulling spokes where you want them (and defending your opinions to the death on internet forums).

well the link I put up seems to originate from the same site and gives a free PDF of the book so don't know what's going on there .
